Brightly colored silk screen, vintage 1970 poster combining two styles - Op Art and Art Nouveau-inspired with a stylized peacock in a field of flowers under a black sky as the focal point. The scene is grounded between fluorescent red and black checkered banners at the top and bottom, and highlighted with a yellow border at the top and bottom of the image. Very unusual decorative commercial poster.

Condition
Fair to good — used poster. Pin-holes at the corners and minor tears; creases and pigment loss along the edges, and spots in the body of the poster. There are also signs of surface wear and minor scratches common with silk screen posters, since the matte pigment rests on the surface of the paper, it is therefore more susceptible to handling imperfections.
