About the Film:
Originally released in 1981, this B-movie with a cult following, was marketed as a family film for children about "A jealous lion-tamer kidnaps a magician's talking chimpanzee and hands the animal over for scientific experiments." Filmed in Gaffney, South Carolina, and Shelby, North Carolina. The illustration portrays the magician played by Don Stewart in his extravagant costume, and Alexander the Great, the talking chimpanzee wearing a yellow jumpsuit, with bold title typography and a colorful set.
