One example of the flurry of amazing art work and designs created for the '72 Olympics that, unfortunately, ended in tragedy. Friedensreich Hundertwasser was an Austrian artist and architect who worked in the field of environmental protection. His art broke past the boundaries of the straight line; "utilised bright colours, organic forms, a reconciliation of humans with nature.."
