If any man seeks for greatness, let him forget greatness and ask for truth, and he will find both. (#717) Vintage Argus Communications Motivational Poster
The quote is by Horace Mann (1796 – 1859), an American education reformer and abolitionist. In a rapidly expanding nation, "Mann’s quote was a call to reframe ambition — to make education and moral inquiry the foundation of public life, rather than mere competition for status." [1]
