condition: Good overall condition; pin holes at the corners and visible handling creases in the margins and image - common for its age and use. Spot of discoloration at the top of the poster. Referring to the verso: Toning on the back and slight skinning at the upper left corner.

About the artist and poster:
Offset lithograph travel poster of surfers catching a huge wave. The printed signature is located at the lower right corner of the image. Chas Allen's most notable work is probably for the big wave surfing poster created for tourism in Hawaii, playing on the surfing trend that was in at the time and the islands long history before surfing's revived interest from tourists.
