Lithographic, printed on heavy board with a small string tied at the top to be hung in the window or door or close to the register. With Ge'ez printing (Eritrean and Ethiopian alphabet)
The advertisement is for a product of Contratto, an Italian alcohol beverage company well known for its sparkling wine, vermouth and its Americano Rosso. Contratto headquarters are based in Canelli, Italy.
Anice Doppio is a liqueur of ancient Mediterranean tradition, obtained with star anise seed distillate through the historic company stills. It can be tasted smooth, as a digestive instead of bitter, or to correct coffee.
