WORKSHOP - Typography for Beginners & Hands-on Typeface Design

Join us at Happiest Kid Finds, for a fun and relaxed poster design workshop, Saturday, September 20th, for beginners and anyone interested in tapping into their creative side. 

The goal is to start the morning with hands-on creativity and messaging; this class focuses on eye-catching text, also known as the display typeface, a powerful design element in a designer's toolbox, and one that participants will create in this workshop. Using stencils, cutouts, or freehand, anything goes in this class!!   

We’ll start with a brief introduction to typography and how it's used in select posters from Happiest Kid Finds’ collection. 

The materials list will be provided for booked participants. Feel free to bring a sketch pad and any specific tools that you want to use. Also, please wear comfortable attire that you won’t mind getting messy with.
