Issued for Fall & Winter 1937–1938 and published c. 1939 by American Gentleman Publishing Corp., 5th Ave., NYC, these color plates were created for the American Gentlemen & Sartorial Art Journal, showcasing crisp, saturated hues and rakish city scenes.
Each sheet measures approximately 9 1/2" x 10 1/2" (individual plates range from about 8 7/8"–9 5/8" x 10 1/2"). Overall condition is fair with excellent color: expect light margin creases or faint smudges on a few, and one sheet with toning and small skinning at the lower left/bottom—ideal for professional matting and framing. Included plates: AG 5700/5701, 5702/5703, 5707/5708, 5709/5710, 5711/5712.
