You are welcome to bring specific materials that you'd like to work with, but materials are included (craft supplies, paper, paints.. ) Light snacks and refreshments are available as well. 

Typography is one of the most powerful tools in a designer's toolbox. It's visual representation of how we communicate. From a marketing perspective, it's a way to get the consumer's attention and Spend!

Typography & Display Typeface Design workshop is an opportunity to look at language differently and get creative with it by

1. reviewing the basic principles of lettering and
2. exploring design ideas based on definitions of words and transforming ordinary statements into eye-catching text. 

We'll use stencils, cutouts, or freehand... anything goes!! Ultimately, I'd love for you to walk away visualizing the sounds, energy, and shape of words that are used and the impact that those elements have.
