The idea of the mask-making workshop with this medium promotes a fun group centered around camaraderie, art creation, and expression.

UPCOMING DATES:

Duration: 2-3 hours

●     Using a mixture of repurposed shredded paper and cardboard scraps and wheat paste as a binder to create masks over a form - the easiest base is a balloon.

●     Once dried, sanding and then embellishing the mask, using paint and craft supplies to further personalize and take home. Depending on the extent of each design, some masks may require more drying time. In this case, participants are welcome to return to the studio to complete their project, or we can create a paint and craft supply kit so that the mask can embellished at home.

● Optional group sharing and impromptu theater (time permitting).
