Painted on canvas board, acetone spilled onto the acrylic painting and ran down the surface, lifting some of the paint. After taking detailed photos, dust and dirt were removed to prep the surface for the restoration. A proper color match was applied to the lost areas; minor touch-up was also done to the edges and corners, preserving the painting's history in the process.
