Saturday Evening Post, established in Philadelphia in 1821, this publication has been a staple for American culture for over 200 years with covers designed by some of America's most notable artists. The most recognized name, of course, is probably Norman Percevel Rockwell. Many other well known artists include, but not limited to: J. C. Leyendecker, Steven Dohanos, Frances Tipton Hunter, Richard Sargent and John Falter. Below is a group of twelve matted and framed covers from a number of other artists that arrived at Happiest Kid Finds recently that date from 1928 - 1938 specifically; the Art Deco period, "an international decorative style than ran from 1919 to 1939. Known initially as "le style moderne" or "Jazz Moderne." "
All are available for purchase - with mat and frame only. Finished / outside frame dimensions for each measure: 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" - mat window: 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" at $75 each.
